You reminded me of a story....When our kids were small, we always loved spring after being cooped up in the house for such a long time. (Even a day is a long time, as far as little boys are concerned) One day, our daughter brought me VERY proudly, a lovely bouquet of daffodils! I told her I loved them, and wondered where she got them. She told me she had picked them over at Mrs. ___'s yard. Oops. So, while I didn't want to get her upset, I didn't want any of the kids picking the neighbors flowers either. So I said, "I"just love them! But since they came from Mrs. ___'s yard, why don't you and I go over and give them to her, and then maybe you would pick me another of all the pretty yellow dandelions in our yard. So we did just that.

It was pretty tricky, but in the end, it worked well. I got flowers all the time from her (yep, Dandy Lions), except when I asked her if she wanted to pick some of the sweet peas I had planted) ...and Mrs. ___ got to keep her own flowers intact.

Little kids are just so cute!

Get well ASAP!
