That would be tricky. :) Years ago I had a friend in the hospital and his girlfriend went with me to visit him. After we parked, she noticed a median in the parking lot loaded with wild flowers and suggested we pick some which we did. The next day I talked with her and we had both been eaten alive by chiggers. :)

That's a sweet story. One of the first lessons we taught the boys is that they will not ever steal, but when they are little they don't even have a concept of what that is. You had a great opportunity to teach your little girl about what personal property is. And I do remember those lovely little bouguets of dandy lions in vases all over the place. We have a little patch of lawn....about 1/4 acre we call "the field." When we first built forget me nots and wild daisies grew all over the place, so we'd get them mixed in with the dandy lions and they were quite the beautiful arrangements.
