Oh.. so you mean no "fart tax" for the cattlemen?

Listen MM, Methane is up to 21 times more potent a GG than CO2. And copius amounts of it get produced EVERY DAY by global life forms and especially those cud-chewing cattle who's loins we love to chew upon.

eia.doe.gov (multiple the 605 million metric tonnes the US produces by 21 and compare it to CO2 production. NOW tell us that Methane isn't an equal or greater threat than CO2!).

And then, of course, we humans do more than our far share of toxic emissions.

Furthermore, everything decays and produces methane. Not everything produces CO2. In fact, some things, like plants, actually absorb CO2 when other requisite elements and nutrients are available.

I can't think of one lifeform that eats or breaths Methane. If there is one, it would be a bacteria.
