Antitrust laws protect competition. Free and open competition benefits consumers by ensuring lower prices and new and better products.


I read this to say the Law is intended to protect the consumer and as a result competition is protected. I agree that competition is a good thing and we are seeing the results. Remember, Intel is a competitor here too. It is a simple fact of life that competition frequently results in a winner and a loser. It's called "life". New and better products at lower prices is exactly what the consumer is seeing.
