LOL, if it isn't even contradictory, then your original question was irrelevant.

AMD never was viewed as a serious player in servers until Opteron came along. But the server market does not turn on a dime. You assume that right after Opteron came out, it should have been adopted right away by all the major server OEMs, but that assumption flies in the face of reality.

Then the whole "legal cover" nonsense takes the absurdity to a whole new level, as if AMD can sue their way out of their own incompetence.
