"one bank was forced to take TARP money or risk receiving an expensive audit..."

Aren't ALL the biggest banks getting a 'stress test' (essentially: an audit examining their books) from the Treasury ANYWAY?

"... the bank has nothing to hide...."

Now how the Hell would anyone actually *know that* without an audit???????????????????????

You want to take some bank's WORD that everything is hunky-dory on their books????????

Really? (After all the lying that has been going on.....)
