If Intel's discounts were volume based (or legal), they wouldn't be terrified to publish them.

Mr Guru,

Re: "If Intel was using discriminatory loyalty rebates as AMD asserts ..."

Just more assertions without any data ... BTW, volume based price discounts
are not illegal.

Mahmoud

I know English is likely your second language Mahmoud, so I can understand if the subtle difference between statements of the form "If X then Y" and "X, therefore Y" is difficult for you to recognize.

The former says nothing about whether condition X is true or not, just about what the consequences would be if X were true.

The latter is an assertion of condition X, Y, and the causal relationship between them.

If you look closely, you'll notice that I used the first form, and not the second. I did it on purpose, to protect myself from accusations similar to the one you made by accident.

While you're looking closely, you might also notice that I made no mention of volume discounts. Don't feel too bad about mistaking discriminatory loyalty rebates with simple volume discounts... Many of your native-English-speaking peers have made the same mistake.

Repeatedly.
