As a shareholder, I think executive compensation deserves serious reform. If these big companies continue to waste financial resources for bonuses like they have in the past, we are doomed to see capital formation continue to go nowhere.

Even the CEO's are beginning to realize they don't need to hand out these crazy bonuses. GS came out and backed executive pay limits. If they all clamp down, the only exit strategy for their bankers are defections to other firms with the same limits. Even the hedge funds may not be an escape if they come under regulation.

Absolutely, tying risk and reward together again as crucial.
