I know that --- in ACTUALITY many so-called 'conservatives' would not touch laissez-faire with a twenty foot pole --- but, (perhaps I've been on Mars or something other than Earth for the past 30 years...), 'cause I sure thought I'd heard PLENTY of lip-service jawboning for laissez-faire in the public sphere from a lot of 'conservative' headliners over that time span.... <g>
