I asked a person who admitted voting for Obama if he regretted Obama yet. He answered that he does not. A asked a few questions and he would have answered in line with observed results in the post election poll of Obama voters. I exchanged e-mail with my father before I left on my trip. His response (On the election of Obama) is that we (the collective US "we" who voted for Obama - not me though) "saved the world." It's amazing hearing this kind of tripe coming from an educated person. Sigh. He's almost 80, so I'm not about to try to change his mind.
