Yes. I agree it's worth monitoring. I could not care less who she stiffs, or whether the republican party dumps her as their poster child. I don't know what an Alfalfa dinner is but if its more important to her, there was no lie there. Every official function she attends could be labeled 'pressing state business'. I'm sure every gov has to decline several per week on that excuse.

Take Barack Obama. Now President Obama not only steps into the shoes of his predecessor, he actually has his Justice Department make still more preposterous arguments in which they insist they are above accountability to the law. Their new mantra is “sovereign immunity,” by which they lose consciousness of the annoying detail that, in America, the people and not the President hold sovereignty.
