Sorry Dale, but this post is really a ridiculous Obama apologist assertion. Wright was his spiritual guide and mentor for 20 years. If he didn't know he ranted the way he did in church, he was either willfully blind, or dense to the core.

It's more reasonable to assume Obama heard and quietly ascribed to many of Wrights rantings, believing the good he did in the local neighborhoods of Chicago, and the political connections he obtained, outweighed the outrageous rantings in church.

His willingness to apologize to heads of state around the world for America's shortcomings, during the latest rock tour, align with this model.

I do believe there is hope. The man is relatively young, both in spirit and in body. If he doesn't encircle himself completely with far left wing Nancy Pelosi types, he may learn to be more centrist, because, he now actually has to make decisions and not simply vote absent, or pontificate from the lecture hall on difficult issues in an often hostile environment.

LMAO!!

Freakin apologist for the POTUS!

Let's see Bubba did not inhale and it is "documented" that the POTUS did not attend ANY of the inflammatory services at his church.

::shakes head::

He denounced Wright AFTER it was brought into the harsh glare of Presidential politics.

BTW there is a large part of the population that does care that is not part of the right winger base. A huge portion of this country claims to be Christian. Believe me, it matters to them what they heard Wright saying. You should not dismiss so easily. But you are good at dismissing things and assigning to the RW. A tactic left over from hil and Bill and their "conspiracy." Shoot, you thought the RW had the only kooks?

It is so nice to compartmentalize and shove in to the "right wing cable talk radio" locker, anything that calls into question the integrity or judgement of the POTUS.

What about his knack for selecting tax cheats as cabinet members. Is the hill so rife with corruption that he just got lucky, what 7 times? Or does he just have tax cheat radar?

Again, I don't care, Bush had plenty of screw ups, what bugs me is posts like you just made. His people go to extreme lengths to cover up stupid stuff that simply happens. Then they act like it didn't happen or it shouldn't matter or the RW are the only people who care. It is maddening that this dude gets such a free pass all the time.
