Obama's Half-Brother Was Refused UK Visa 10:44am UK, Sunday April 12, 2009 US President Barack Obama's half brother was refused a visa to enter the UK because he had been accused of a serious crime on a previous visit, it has emerged. Samson Obama was on his way to Washington DC for the President's inauguration in January but was stopped by immigration officials at East Midlands Airport. Biometric tests discovered the Kenyan mobile phone shop manager was linked to a serious incident in the UK last November.
