Here's a fact for you and Brumar, Hawk. Russia is making land grabs in the Arctic. Do you think they are big tree hugging, environmentalists? Not likely. The Russians are after oil and they see the ice melting and decide they want to start making a play for the resources there, as the ice melts further. So as I see it, your belief that the ice is not melting would lead you to not take action to secure what could be the last big oil prizes on this earth. I hope Obama believes the ice is melting, because we need to have our Navy and Cartographers out there in the Arctic mapping and claiming land as the ice melts, so that we can make sure we get our share of any oil that might be there. Imagine if Bush and folks like you were still in charge. You'd ignore the ice melt and forgo the battle to claim that land, because you wouldn't believe it was going to happen. How stupid is that?
