It's comparable to people claiming that prayer kept them safe when they walked across the street. I put an equal amount of faith and belief in both, since a hard number is unknowable.

And absent hard numbers, I don't accept propositions as proved in any significant way, even if one can deduce that in some hypothetical incidents, brandishing could make a difference.

It is so obvious. Brandishing is so logical. Any idiot could understand the principle behind brandishing.

Look at the North koreans and Iranians. They don't feel safe. If they could brandish nuclear weapons, they could feel safe. Everyone has the right to feel safe.

I mean what happens when you ban all nuclear weapons on the face of the earth. Then no one can feel safe.

If everyone had access to nuclear weapon we could then all feel safe.
