They were *always* in Pakistan. (Since their very inception.)

OBL (financed by Saudi/Yemeni & Gulf Sunni money) *flocked* to the border regions of Pakistan/Afghanistan originally to fight the Soviets... and his organization as been there to this very day.

The Pastun nation straddles both Afghanistan and Pakistan, is the largest ethnic group in each, and - after the Kurds - is also the largest irredentist movement in the world.

Peter, we didn't "remove" any Al Queada from Iraq.

We "created" Al Queada in Iraq.

We also helped to create Hezbollah and Hamas.

After we went into Afghanistan we got offers from Iran to open relations. Bush just ignored them and that led to this new "Imanutjob" guy getting elected in Iran and their funding Hamas and Hezbollah.

Clinton came closer than anyone else in getting a peace agreement between Palistine and Israel.
