He tells me privately "we know" man is causing global warming and it is a very serious and immediate problem. I believe the figurre is over 90% of the worlds top atmospheric scientists believe as he does.

Ask him how the Vikings influenced the planet's climate to the point they were able to farm in Greenland?

I really want an explanation for the Medieval Maximum, which possessed temperatures higher than we've currently currently yet seen.

Then I want him to explain the various minimums, including the Wolf and Maunder, where we saw extended cold climate, with the Maunder occurring during an LONG TERM solar minimum.

Does your son in law take into account decreased solar sunspot activity?

Charles - your son in law is a global warming profiteer. If his concern was manifest without profit it might merit attention.

As it is - he appears bought and paid for - who knows how much influence money has on him or all the other fools getting rich by scaring people. Algore is exhibit 1.

There is too much money in GW to have the alarmists be credible.
