We lost eight years while the rest of the world went forward and now we have extra work if we want to be a world player in this industry.<< please cite data to back up this assertion. please focus on china because that was the nation i brought up. in case you don't know, it has a lot of people, so i didn't cherry pick it. thanks. >>China will go green or choke in their own filth.<< oh, so you did understand, you just ignored. they choose to choke in their filth, which validates my point. they'll export it too. don't believe me? don't let your kid chew on chinese paint to prove me wrong please. >>We can be to them in green technology what they are to us in plastic crap sold at WalMart.<< they don't want it. it increases expenses, just like not using lead paint. they have grown into an economic super power for one reason - and it isn't because they are green. if you don't mind me asking, what is the make and model of the largest vehicle in your family and how long is your daily commute to work? i just want to make sure you aren't like al gore who lectures about conservation and spends $30k per year on energy for his home and flies around on private jets polluting the world more in one day than i do all year. or arnold, the governator, who commutes from LA to sacramento via private jet daily so he can tell me to turn off my lights (which i do).

Yea, but in which direction is the transfer? One country supplies another with a valuable commodity, oil, and the other pays with depreciating electronic credits, created at almost zero cost, called US dollars, which can only be utilized by the recipient by lending them back to the country which produced them in the first place.
