Quite a dip yesterday. I wonder why. Maybe just sympathy play with BG - pretty heavy volume on the hit though. Maybe just market eratica also. I'll keep an eye on it. My natural tendency when a stock gets hit like that is to want it a little cheaper, but it does appear cheap. Stocks that sell off before earnings have a higher probability of rebounding on the report unless its devastating.

TOT is sure erratic. Nice day for it yesterday.

Value stocks were 159 up and 272 down yesterday on watch list. Not a particularly impressive performance for a market that was higher. Yet a few interesting prospects remain. A few of the better bump ups included CPWM, LHO, GIFI, SKS, BGP, RCKY, PIR

I like CPO as well at your price. I'll take a few exploratory shares at current, slightly higher price, add a bit more if stock should drop back.

isnt bg a more solid buy? werent fertilizer profits severely affected by the sharp increase in energy costs? wont fertilizer come back strong over time? I cant help but think population is going to expand, as the us declines and asia expands in importance more people are going to be spending more money on food.

OT the whole episode with BAC and Paulson and Bernake is very disturbing to say the least. There really has to be a special prosecutor appointed into the feds and treas. shenanigans over the past year. Geithner and Bernake should both resign immediately as should the entire congressional banking commitees. There has been extreme and persistant regulatory failure of the banking system. There is just no getting around this.

CPO -missed earnings. I averaged down in the 18's. Still looks good to me.

DIN - look at this stock. Worst balance sheet in the industry. Stock is melting up - looks like a short squeeze to me.
