Look, dems who rubberstamped should have their feet to the fire too. You are dead on about the wiretapping that the liberals opposed. But defending torture going forward is not the answer. Lets do the difficult intel and the necessary spying without trading in our highest principals. What was done in 02 when we were desparate, scared and vulnerable is one thing---what we did in continuing it, codifying it and justifying it is something quite different.
