Obama is also a flim flam man. Too bad he didn't just want to form a marching band. 125 years ago, he'd have been selling snake oil and elixers out of the back of a wagon.

I fully share the sentiment, but we all accept the system, and he won the election. The real question is - Why did this happen? I submit that those among us who understand the reasons for America's success and her greatness - limited government, robust individualism, etc. - somewhere along the way, over the past several decades, failed to impart this knowledge on the younger generations. In the coming years we will have an opportunity to do this right. The fact that a politician like BO was elected President is... disturbing - but it may be only a symptom of what could be a deeper and greater problem.
