I'm sure you're right. The younger generation has been brainwashed by an out of order educational system, which, at the lower echelons was ruined by unions, and at the university level by tenure, elitism and pcism.

I happen to know a number of grade school teachers. To a person, these people do nothing but bellyache about their jobs, talk about how woebegone they are to have to go to work, and how happy they are when it's spring break, summer vacation, etc. etc. etc.

The unions have taken control of their minds and instilled permanent disaffection. The caterwauling is deeply offensive to me. They knew the payscale when they took the job. In return, they got security and great benefits, including what amounts to a part time work schedule (at least from my POV.)

No wonder people are looking for an Uncle Sugar.

Just read the notes from our first one....I think there are several reasons that this brand of Dem won this time....

First, there are nearly 46% of the voters who don't pay any Federal Income Tax. THAT all by itself is a big reason. They have been led to believe that they deserve to have someone elses' money.

2nd: I fault the Teachers Unions and sometimes the teachers themselves. I have several grandkids, in various grades, and all seem to think they are being taught by teachers who don't seem to like America very much. Our 7th grade granddaughter told us tonight, she doesn't agree at all with her teacher on global warming, and doesn't like the way her teacher is pushing the agenda of Pres O. She feels she has to be careful when writing her papers because she gets good grades and wants to keep them that way.

3rd: Because there are so many one parent households, plus homes where parents aren't knowledgeable about what their kids are doing, is just another reason we have so many who can't read, do basic math, and seem to have no direction as to what they want to do when they graduate. If in fact they do graduate.

If Obama were of a Conservative mindset, and believed in the Constitution and the capitalist way of growing the economy, I believe we would all feel more secure about this country. I believe that most of us like the image Obama wants to present, but what does scare most of us is the direction he is pushing us toward. He is leaving us without any say in the matter, and with no bipartisan discussion in Congress.

I know many people who are just feeling uneasy right now. Most don't want to talk about it, but will when we actually get down to 'what can we do about it' conversation.
