Proof your mind is closed.

I would say that Obama is only about 100 days into his presidency and already he is guilty of 1, 2, and 3, with a slight adjustment of facts. The notion that Bush is akin to Hitler and Obama is not is laughable.

In fact all modern politicians learned from Hitler. Look at either major convention and the major gatherings of the Nazi party, substitutute Amercian Flags for Nazi flags and English for German and you can't tell the difference.

I can only hope that free good men and women of rational mind and conviction, and capable of deductive reasoning, will stand up, speak out, prevail and democratically prosecute Bush, Cheney and others of the Bush Administration so that we can send a message to future generations that the USA is a moral country and that we won't stand for criminal Presidencies that take us down the road to economic hell, lower our standards of living and diminish our national security while leading us to more global strife.

mindmeld,

That kind of twisted "logic" exactly defines the mindset behind the Democrats' new found sense of moral authority and superiority driving the ugly side of politics behind the "GW and new economy" coalition. The result can only be self righteous mob rule in an era of neo-McCarthyism, as a new Amerikan "green" nationalism seeks to suppress freedom of thought and speech.

Already, research funding mostly goes only to those who believe in and seek to scientifically confirm GW. History indicates that it shouldn't be long before scientists who speak out against GW lose their tenure and jobs.

Where does that kind of "thinking" lead? May we soon expect to see emboldened, self righteous mobs of Green zeolots vandalizing the property of and beating those individuals who stand in their way? Thereafter, will the gov't and media define new foreign enemies that threaten national and global security-countries that continue to grow their economies on carbon based energy? Considering both individual and mob like behavior of how Greens railed against the USA for not ratifying the Kyoto agreement, now that Greens have the White House, a very dark era may lay before us all.

Hale to the chief.

Obama has used fear to dived the citizenry to increase his own power

* used war as a first response to problems with other countries
* used religion to divide people

Bush did neither of the above.

* incurred massive debt to finance an unsustainable bubble economy and a massive increase in the military

Obama and the Democratic Congress is doing this on a larger scale than Bush and the GOP Congress.
