The difference is mine is genuine, personal, and private

You cower in silence as your country tortures in your name? Is that what you teach your children? Is this you leading by example?

while yours is publicly confused and has no genuine basis outside partisan hatred.

That's ridiculous. If it were a partisan thing we wouldn't have so many on the right come out and say publicly that waterboarding is torture. If you look it up on Wikipedia their definition starts: "Waterboarding is a form of torture..."

It's no stretch or twist of logic to know waterboarding is indeed torture. Only a few Bush apologists have tried to argue otherwise in an attempt to avoid criminal liability for their actions. That you argue on their behalf tells us nothing about waterboarding or torture. It tells us a lot about you.

On a rare occasion of clear honesty you declared the statement of the DOJ as authoritative proof of the law.

That was a flippant, sarcastic remark on my part. And you should be smart enough to know the DOJ is not the definitive authority on what constitutes torture. Is this your lack of knowledge or lack of integrity on display?
