You and the whole country needs to start a dialogue with the scientific community. Surely you can see the future of technology is so complex we need to have the scientific community plugged into our social and political system.

E.g. The Indians produce 10 times as many engineers as we do and the Chinese 5 times as many.

If China gets a working quantum computer before we do a quantum computer will be able to blow right through any non quantum encryption we have built to protect our nuclear arsenal with.

Technological complexity is coming at us like a huge tidal wave and only the scientific community can figure it out.

For our childrens sake we need to stick our personal feelings in our back pockets an embrace the scientific community.

This last 30 years of anti intellectual behavior by our leaders has to stop.
