"My gang has more votes than your gang, so what we say, goes". koan: "That is certainly the achilles heel as put forth by Alexis De Tocqueville. "Tryanny of the majority over the minority." We really saw that problem, with slavery, not letting women vote and segregation and when the Republcians controlled all three powers of government from 2,000 to 2006 when bush did not veto one bill and the suprmeme court backed and congress backed up all of bush's plays. Bowers: "Mob rule is what the United States has been evolving towards over the years, as our constitution has been systematically eviscerated by both the left and the right." koan" agreed. Bowers: "Socialism is de jure government ownership of a country's economy. Fascism pays lip service to private enterprise but maintains de facto control over most all aspects of a country's economy."" koan: All dmeocracies are one form of welfare state or another. Denmark, Sweden and Finland are all democratic socialst countries, and all three function better than our government, IMO." Bowers: "That's also what the United States has been evolving towards over the years. It's also a trend that is rapidly accelerating.."" koan, not anymore. The last eight years was a top down government. We are now a bottom up government. bottom up is much more democract by nature. Community orgaination and community power, if you will. What I did for 30 years. The new administration will establish thousands of local councils (like school boards) to solve our problems at the community level. I did that sort of thing most of my working life and it spreads the greatest democracy possible by giving decision making powers to the local governments/people who can then manifest their own destiny.
