Thats a claim, not a fact. If it were true, we should expect monopolies of other kinds to be the best solution as well. This is not considered the case. Why do you think it would be true for health care insurance? Intelligently regulated, competitive systems, have a long history of being more efficient than others forms of commerce, and there is no compelling reason to suspect anything is different here. Why aren't you clamoring for single payer auto insurance for example?
