The airwaves are leased to the businesses. If you don't see free speech issues then you aren't looking at all. Why the particular issue with political speech? Why not advertising as well. They could pitch a product and then have their competitors on for free to sell their product. It is a nasty intrusion of free speech. There are ample radio and TV waves for which people can launch programming and speak in opposition if it pleases them. The media (TV and RADIO) are businesses. The market will determine the successful programming.
