You see reality one way and I see reality a completely different way. And we are never going to change each others minds as your reality is as real to you as mine is to me. You do not want to live in a society formed around my ideas of what reality is, who is good and who is bad, and what is right and what is wrong. And I see just about everything the opposite of you and do not want to live in the kind of society you would like to see. E.g I consider the last 8 years pure hell where our government did just about everything wrong. And I am sure you thought the last 8 years of government was wonderful, administered brillantly and with great patriotism and humanity. So how do we humans solve this problem? It is a worldwide problem and if we do not figure out a way to reach a consensus of opinion that will allow us to solve worldwide threats to our suvival, like nuclear proliferation, then we will perish as a species. E.g. Brumar, Hawk and I guess you, feel we should do nothing about global warming as it is just a hoax to you guys. Just forget about it and don't worry about nuclear weapons or the spread of lead, mercury and radiation or pollution in general. And there are myriad problems like the ones above which we most likely will need to address, yet we have vastly different ideas of what they are and how to solve them. My hope is that the differences between us are just a matter of education and sanity and as our civilization continues to become more educated, and learns how to identify and establish sane and educated people, en mass, the worlds democracies will make better decisions going forward.
