Wayne, you beat me to the punch. Let me tell you that they have some dumb people asking questions. the major question was not asked. That is "if pdg does not intend to go through with the project after 2 years , does bgo get any walk away money from pdg for the broken marriage. Because after 2 years bgo will lose valuable time and in the case of a move upward for gold, other parties might become interested in the mean time and bgo will not be rewarded. the feasibility study will take two years and then the mine construction at least another year,. no one asked clive what they will subsequently do on the el callao property and what he think is their upside. this is another version of "laugh out".

Wayne,
Good summation: I listened to conference too. Analysts were congratulatory and comments made about the project were typically favourable. They seem positive especially about the potential of Roman and Romancito possibly being connected at depth. Deal closes around the end of the year. Two years to complete feasibility. Confident in continued tax friendliness in Chile, contrary to some rumours. Their DD was done in May.
Today's market is typical of the impeccable timing of BGO's news releases. I believe the PF study was released on a day where gold collapsed. In the words of Donnie Brasco--put it away and "forget about it".
Regards,
Dan Byrne

Wayne:

I was in on that conference call, also. Placer was very evasive. If this thread thinks Bema was tight with information, wait 'till they try to get anything from Placer. Bema was a fountain of information compared to Placer. BUT, Placer is running the show now, so don't expect much prior to the feasibility study. I'll be damn happy if they release drill results on anything.

Placer really downplayed their knowledge of CC and the MRDI study, which didn't convince me for a minute that they don't know exactly what's in MRDI's PF Study.

Bema told me Placer has drills moving to Aldebaran as of today and will be drilling the Romancito, Cerro Roman, and Eva sites in 2 weeks. Whether we'll ever see any drill results prior to the feasibility study is very questionable. The majors don't keep stockholders informed on drill results like juniors do (and Bema has).

This is a long term play, and a very good one.

Gary - Interested in a few comments you made about the PDG news conference:

>- in answer to a question they see a lot of upside potential in Roman and Romancito and Eva.

-will spend the 15 million drilling the best targets likely on Roman, Romancito, Eva which likely will contain similiar grades but may be shallower.

- their evidence on the other three properties comes from 17 and 40 drill holes plus trenching results.

-when asked what attracted them the answer was CC but more attracted by the whole Aldebaran<

The last news release on the remaining Aldebaran targets brought us up to 35 holes; 33 at Roman/Romancito and 2 at Jotabeche. The information from the news conference would seem to indicate that at least 22 further holes have been drilled. Possibly 17 holes at Eva? Bema said in a conference call last April that one of the drills from Roman had been moved to Estrella, but they would not subsequently confirm whether any holes had been drilled. There has never been any mention of Eva, but this report would seem to indicate definitively that the target has been drilled, with promising results. One gets the impression that they did quite a bit more drill hopping on Aldebaran than has been disclosed. Can you clarify?
