As I understand it Kevin, have to have 250 stocks open to have SPX resume trading.

Less than l00 points to the end of the day.

Guess Mutual funds are getting flooded with phone calls.

Guess what the headlines will be tomorrow am?

President had a rep. talking on tv just about l0 minutes ago.....

Everyone "trying" to act calm.

Second biggest point decline in U.S. today.

Hi Kevin, the reason for waiting for 250 stocks to open before the futures reopened, is because they wanted half the stocks to open prior to the futures doing so.

It would not surprise me to see corporations announce massive stock buy-backs before the market opens tomorrow. That is what happened in 1987 and it introduced a much needed level of demand for equities which helped to contain the decline.

A historic day of sorts
