That's why I teased you about your math.

You are right. I forgot to convert the steaks from weekly intake to monthly. That puts me at five pounds of beef a month instead of one.

This beef argument will never be settled because no one is going to do a clinical study on grass fed vs corn fed. I see at least one article a month pushing one side or the other.

I just went though a discussion elsewhere on Krill oil. I consider it an overpriced specialty oil that is not needed. Others love it. They think the Astaxanthin in it is "the bee's knees."

The point is, I know the best way to cheaply supplement Omega 3 is with fish oil. It will give you all the anti-inflammatory you need. Load up on it and don't worry about the rest. When I got a CRP test back showing I was at .05, I knew I had that subject covered.

Further, I haven't been able to confirm the superior omega 3 and CLA performance from an independent source. The USDA database doesn't show much of a difference on omega 3 and doesn't speak to CLA.

It may be large number of small differences, rather than one huge difference in one variable.
