Since the Kingdom of God became a spiritual one with the sacrifice the rules changed. If you don't believe that the Bible is verbatim the world of God then you really don't have anything to base your faith on, do you? I think the following pretty well says it all "So Pilate entered into the governor’s palace again and called Jesus and said to him: “Are you the king of the Jews?” 34 Jesus answered: “Is it of your own originality that you say this, or did others tell you about me?” 35 Pilate answered: “I am not a Jew, am I?
