Naomi, great to hear from you. Thank you for the update. It surely sounds as if you've been busy.

Hi Naomi...you may be gone on your weekend trip as I type, but if not, I'm wishing you good luck, and lots of fun and relaxation time!

I can relate with your story of your son and his "gathering and keeping of things"...we both have some of that problem ourselves, but our son definitely did when he was in the same position of your son after a divorce....That was a tough time for everyone concerned!

I'm SO glad to hear you are feeling so much better and can finally do one of the things you love...bowling. The bowling ball sounds as if it is bigger than you are...! <g>

I too like to go gamble sometimes. It's such a no-brainer, and somehow it is relaxing. My hubby doesn't mind if I go, but he hates to gamble himself. In fact, did that yesterday...didn't come home with anything to show for my time, except I did get a little flashlight powered by turning a handle (it actually works)....from the 50 points I had gathered over the last few times...I play pennies, but have found that one can really spend lots of pennies in no time flat if one isn't paying attention...<ggg>

Your story is one you could keep for your kids someday in a folder with the others you have written. I sure wish I was able to find something like that when I work on family history, because it is like a diary...!

Thank you for all the great news.

We've been away at a 60th HS reunion for Joe in San Antonio and had a great, great time.
For many reasons we haven't been around, but will be here for awhile - and more.

Hope everybody has been basically well for the last 500 plus posts. I hope to scan as many as I can to see if there is other news, but I pray that it has all been fun + figuring out how to get our country back to OUR country :) Let Freedom Ring!!

Happy weekend to all who served, all those who supported--and all those still around to applaud the new ones who love this land too!!
