If you have a job in today's economy, you are truly fortunate. I count it as a blessing to still be self employed at the age of 72.

We can let them roam the streets and all go hungry and die .

That idea is pretty much irrelevant whether or not we passed all the stimulus and bailout bills. Unemployment insurance, welfare etc. have been around for a long time.

or we can swallow hard and at least get something instead that is positive for our nation.

That begs the question the issue is whether we are getting something positive for the nation.
