President Barack Obama's Defense Department plans to create 20,000 new jobs to manage a revamp of the way the United States buys billions of dollars of weapons each year

That leaves only 480,000 jobs for him to create in order to fulfill his campaign promise.

Pentagon plans 20,000 new jobs to manage arms-buys

That is terrific.

Soon the Pentagon will have 1,220,000 civilian employees.
Meanwhile the US Army has 550,000 soldiers.

That is why America has not won a war since the Pentagon was built.
