The thing that has bugged me about the potential failed 5th, and this showed up around the globe, is that it only had three waves. It looks distinctly corrective. And sentiment grew increasingly bullish as it worked lower.

I think I'm going to apply Occam's razor here. The simplest explanation is that it was a corrective low, just as it appears in our own Nasdaq, and the larger structure is just a gynormous flat.
