Business-oriented multimedia products will continue to expand as MPEG II video compression technology is integrated in all new MMX PCs, expected to happen in 1998. Oak Technology Inc. will showcase Troika, a fully integrated DVD presentation engine (MPEG II video/ Dolby Digital audio) for DVD players and PC-DVD. Jazz Multimedia will present Jammin' DVD II, incorporating MPEG II technology with Dolby AC-3 surround sound for the theatre experience.
