Bush didn't make examples of them. The appropriate courts of law tried and convicted them.

Court martials which had no information about secret memos authorizing these techniques...defense attorneys without the means to defend their clients...a general stripped of her career having nothing to do with the matter...with the president, the defense sec, and others in their cabal speaking publicly against the soldiers.

Yet the interrogations were authorized by the president, occurred in tightly controlled circumstances, including examinations by physicians, had been authorized by the President, and involved persons who were known to have information that would save American lives. A radically different thing.

Why is it that the photos matched pretty closely what the memos described? Is it because the grunts were guided? You know damn well it is...they scapegoated these soldiers, bush and his band of slimy cowards...
