The more that dropped out, the better. Iridium going belly up should have been a GOOD thing, along with ICO and Teledesic etc giving up. There was obviously NOT then room for a swarm of constellations to launch around the same time.

As you now say, if Iridium doesn't relaunch, that's a GOOD thing and will leave a lot more prospects for Globalstar.

There is a good chance that they won't. If they do, it'll be a battle for profitability yet again.

I was only Bernied by one Bernie. That was enough for me.
