trini passport supposed allows me to live on any of the caribbean islands, and in a pinch i can even suffer tobabgo - population 30k, plenty of sun, wind, gas, soca music, shark rotti, and nice scenary and eye candy

come to think about it all, i would welcome a kick in the behind from hk that would get me moving in tobago direction

still have enough distant family there to make do

the key to survival, speaking as a perpetual refugee, is that financial resoucrces, body corporate, and passport must ideally be dispersed

Chile is a nice country.

One of the drawbacks is a very high "Gini coefficient", i.e. a measure of inequality. As far as I know, crime is not as bad as some other places in S. America, but there is a trend toward gated communities and high security.
