Dick Cheney made clear Sunday he'd rather follow firebrand broadcaster Rush Limbaugh than former Joint Chiefs chairman Colin Powell into political battle over the future of the Republican Party. Follow? He said "follow"? I didn't hear that. Obviously, he agrees more with Limbaugh. As does any self-respecting Republican. Powell supported Obama. Why in hell would Republicans agree with him? I've always thought a lot of Powell, but I lost all respect for him when he voted for a socialist -- I don't care if he IS black, that isn't okay.

"Cheney aligns GOP future with Limbaugh over Powell " If Cheney, Rush and the thread wingnuts represent the "real" (R) party, the (R)'s are pretty much over as a national party. But you can expect the (R)'s to get even nastier and shriller as they shrink and continue to lose power. Which is too bad. The (D)'s really need a principled opposition. It seems they'll be free to over-reach.
