How can I worm my way into the globalized banking system to participate? But then I'd also have to figure out what side of the see-saw to sit on at the right time. My brain is shot. Where can I buy a new one?

Credit-Anstalt (Vienna), but it didn't fail until 1931. It's
in Kindleberger's "Manias, Panics, and Crashes". Nice book to
have around the house these days, but doesn't necessarily lead
to wisdom.
