"Why doesn't the movie just come out and say it? "Don't smoke." It's that easy." You should ask your southern (R) buddies that supported the tobacco companies for YEARS after everyone was positive smoking causes cancer. It's a "personal freedom" issue, don't ya know.

Don't you think Bristol Palin could have used a trip to Planned Parenthood BEFORE she let Levi knock her up? Some people, especially young teens "in LOVE", don't HAVE any common sense. Love conquers all! There are MILLIONS of Bristol Palins out there, many of them without the family backup.

I felt like my intelligence was insulted, and I was in 4th grade at the time. Why doesn't the movie just come out and say it? "Don't smoke." It's that easy. It would take many years before I figured out the answer. Education has stripped out the morality and tries to pass itself off as morally neutral. I understand the need to do that, but it's left a big gaping hole in the moral fabric of society. That wasn't it. You tell a kid not to do something and he or she will do it. By leaving it up to the kid, the kid is much more likely to think about it and the consequences..........much like you did.
