"Perhaps it's the Democrats who are afraid of losing what they just gained, ..."

The left winger extremists on this thread always go to far until the back lash destroys what could have been seen as a gain. They've done it with BDS, Palin bashing, etc and will likely continue.

Obama won on a platform of faith, building unity, family values, honesty and hard work, courage and fair play, tolerance and curiosity, loyalty and patriotism.

He said: "This is the source of our confidence: the knowledge that God calls on us to shape an uncertain destiny. ... and ... we gather because we have chosen hope over fear, unity of purpose over conflict and discord."

These guys keep proclaiming Obama's leadership to be a win for them personally and a step toward a better life. I've yet to see a single one of them acting like they support it.

If the truth is never a bad thing, then maybe you can tell us why Obama did an about-face and opposed the release of the abuse photos, at least verbally.

My guess is he considered what the generals had to say and changed his mind.

Do you think that's a bad thing?

SD, > Bring it on. What are the Republicans afraid of?

The Republicans have little to lose at this point.

If the truth is never a bad thing, then maybe you can tell us why Obama did an about-face and opposed the release of the abuse photos, at least verbally.

Can you tell me why Boehner and Steele have done an about face and are no longer asking for an investigation of Pelosi?
