In response to a critic of my posting style on another website, I invite him here to discuss my response:
Carmelbeach - you proved my point about you. This is a board about LBWR. Yet, you spent quite a long time trying to prove a point about ME. All you did prove was that you have no logic and are obsessed with posters.
I have one name on various boards and have been posting for over a decade. In order to compare posting records, YOU would need to disclose your multiple aliasses on the various boards. I don't try to hide under multiple accounts.
I'm not going to do your work for you. But take all my posts and divide them by the number of years I've posted and you will see that my statements are correct. Relatively speaking I don't post that often when compared to the top posters on any site. I certainly don't post exclusively on any one stock, except perhaps when I get into a little "war" with mornic generic posters. Overall, my posting history reflects a diversification. As for why I don't post on XOM, does that really require an answer? I own over 100 stocks and have investments in non-equity categories. I'm sure you know that given your obsession with me. I have posted elsewhere about these but there is not the interest and I don't have the time, unlike others, to post where nobody is interested. Nobody really cares what I think about XOM.
Despite the relative infrequency of my posts, I'm one of the most membermarked posters on SI and IHub. You, on the other hand, have garnered a reputation that does not exist outside of "cut and paste."
Your last 2 responses have been perhaps the most non-"cut and paste"- you have done. I've shamed you into some original thought and I suppose both of us should be congratulated. Perhaps you can even thank me for my ability to create a few synapses in perhaps an otherwise vacant cerebral cortex.
The Microcap Kitchen where I do most of my posting has been one of the most successful boards in all of stock picking. Going through it, as I'm sure you have, you will find multi-bagger stock picks. I've contributed and am well-respected there. Others have been there even longer and have contributed more. But it's hardly a pump board. Yes, OTC BB stocks are risky but they are fully disclosing and it is possible to make lots of money. I wouldn't continue to do this if I were not. I have yet to have a bad year. I can't and won't prove and I don't need to justify myself to you. These are stock boards and the purpose is to share ideas. I do that successfully, hardly in a pump or tout style.
I've posted probably about 300 different stocks and I'm guessing there. On SI, I used to post on non-stock boards. Taken in toto, if you weren't so interested in trying to misconstrue and misrepresent, you do see that I post about diversity of stocks and investments in general. I spend little time on any one stock. Even with respect to LBWR, I really only post to show how moronic and generic the bashing has been, how one-sided and how inane, lacking logic it is.
Thank you for helping me in that regard.
As you hide your aliassses on various boards, we really can't compare. If you have any courage whatsoever, make full disclosure. It's not believable that someone who spends his life obsessing about posters does not post on other boards. Why are you so afraid and have to hide behind the keyboard. You know who I am and I'm not afraid of you and your "crew." Let's see if you can say the same. I doubt it. What are your names on other boards?
Without disclosure, the only real comparison we can make is this
RB- Carmbelbeach 7364 posts since membership began 7/13/2005. That's an average of over 1700 each year.
rrufff 3022 posts since June 18, 1998, an average of under 300 each year.
In other words, in the only direct comparison we can make, you have posted probably close to 6 times as frequently.
Most of your posts are "cut and paste" I admit, moronic and generic.

In any event, your posting history shows more someone obsessed with message boards, obsessed with posters and obsessed with individual stocks.
My posting history shows someone who diversifies and has a record of picking stocks, not being perfect, but having a record of very successful investing that has lasted for well over a decade. In fact, you guys are amateurs. I've gone up against the "best" group of bashers, (although depending on perspective "best" is not the word to us) going back to the early days of SI. I've been threatened and challenged by the Anthony crew and others way more advanced than you. Even my critics (see, e.g., the Truthseeker) give me props for objectivity and critics. The amateurs here merely obsess and attack, thinking that, as is typical, there will be no response. Typical school yard bullies, you love attacking others who will not respond to your attacks.
As bashers, you guys here can't hold a jockstrap to the Anthony's the Pinks, the goldfingers. Of course, those guys have been forced to leave the world of posting for rather less than admirable reasons. Follow in their footsteps and perhaps you will make it one day.
Carmelbeach, yes, you're minor league. You've gone through a lot of effort and all you really have shown is that you are obsessed with me and other posters you perceive as being "touts." My posts are not typically, "to the moon" and I try to bring some guidance. I don't have to defend myself. Follow me around and post on SI and IHub and ask others to compare and you will see that you fail to create a blip of respect, other than as a "cut and paster." I have a tremendous number of member marks and those who "follow" my posts and you may be the most obsessed.
Finally, again, this is LBWR and not about me or Creede. If you have any courage, which I doubt, come over to the fight club on IHub or the DD Maven on SI and we can compare posting styles. Perhaps I will learn something from you. I doubt it. Most of what I see is that of which you complain. You complain about attacks yet you obsess with posters. You claim to add content, yet you "cut and paste." You complain about not copying and pasting as that is your desired style. You are narrow-minded. Anyone who differs from your style or approach is deemed a target.
You report posts that are attacks, yet they are responses to other attacks. Why is it that you can't be fair and objective? Why do you applaud attacks, disclosure of personal information and off topic gossip from those you perceive to be "bashers?"
You have me to thank for finally doing something other than "cut and paste." Unfortunately, you've been shown up. You have proven nothing other than your obsession. You misled with statistics that can't be directly compared. Of course, you knew that and figured I would just gloss by it.
Again, I've dealt with the "best" or "worst" bashers over 10-12 years and, again, you're minor league.
Carry on with your obsession, but for the sake of "educating" about LBWR, why don't you stay on topic here and then join me over on one of the SI or IHub boards where we can civilly discuss posting styles?
I doubt you'll take up my challenge, or any of them. You've already suggested that you refuse to mention any investment. It's easy to be a critic, hard to stick out a neck so that others can criticize. I do well, I make mistakes, I'm proud of what I've done. You may feel the same way about yourself, but look at your posts. Your posts attack posters, they don't educate. You "cut and paste" to attack posters, not to help others learn. You provide links so that you can intimidate, or try, not to foster understanding.
In this case, you have failed, but I'm sure you will carry on with your obsession and then probably report my posts as being off topic, although I'm merely responding to you.
