Addi, please read...

exchange2000.com

for my opinion on tomorrow.
You're too hard on the sellers. They might be protecting some of this year's remaining gains. They might feel strongly that the market will
fall much further. We all act on our convictions. And not everyone
can stomach 30-50% losses [which tech stocks may routinely have
without company specific bad news.]
Remember that this selling is not driven by company valuation etc.
It is driven by fear only.

I'm holding all my stocks - but I don't feel good about it.

Can anyone explain to me why does currency crisis in ASEAN countries affect Japanese purchase of American technology? Or is this a case of American ignorance that Japanese have as much in common with Thai as Americans with Colombians?

Addi, I think that many of the individual investors that are selling here may be doing so because they have to meet margin calls. If they bought stocks on 50% margin a 10% drop in the price of their stock is a 20% drop in their portfolio and would generate a margin call.
