You did indeed misrepresent my position. Apparently the straw man argument was based on misunderstanding not intentional deceit but it still happened. You backed out of the idea that someone saying "I saw him do it" isn't evidence. I haven't backed out of any idea. Both my initial and my current position is that someone quoting someone else as saying they saw a snarl, isn't evidence of "throwing in with right wing hate groups". And do it without posting ANYTHING of substance The whole point here is that you provided no substance. You provide a claim about hate groups and throwing in with hate groups, and your evidence is that someone snarled. That's hardly something of substance. Its a strong accusation with nothing to back it up. It unsupported slander or calumny. It leaves ME with nothing... the piece is quoting the president of a Catholic University... and says nothing about "one person" The president of Catholic University is one person. As is the president of Trinity University (the person who was actually quoted, perhaps you didn't read the article). Also Patricia McGuire (the president of Trinity) didn't say anything about hate groups, so you don't even have an argument from authority (with McGuire as the authority), you basically have nothing to support your assertion about hate groups. (It was your assertion, not McGuire's which is why I say it leaves YOU with nothing). You have no evidence, no argument, no accusation from anyone but yourself, and not even a specific accusation in your own words. You name no hate groups, show no connection to any of them, and generally have nothing to support your claim.
