Ca props are getting slammed tonight.......all but the one that stopped a legislative raise if the budget isn't balanced.

The message should be clear..............enough already.

So who do we blame then as now for overspending? Reagan was dealing with an overwhelmingly Democratic House and after 1986 a Democratic Senate with no line item veto power. The Reagan tax cuts doubled the Federal tax revenue. Congress managed to spend every penny of it and then some. At least now we have the line item veto, although I don't think the current administration will be vetoing any spending. Skeet, I know you are up on CA politics, does the Gobernator have the line item veto? 5 props went down in flames. Now we'll see if they get the message in Sacramento. Doubt it.
