The debate occurred, and the EC decision reflects the outcome of that debate, coupled with its rationale.

Ahh wrong. No debate occurred. A debate is between 2 sides. Only one side was heard here. Intel's side will be heard in a court of law.

The article linked to was only one of many in leading publications. If you want me to post them all I can do that but like Intel, it's best to let the talking be done in court. The point is that if you think only Intel supporters are criticizing this ruling then you're the delusional one.

Gary Shapiro who wrote the article is the President & CEO of the Consumer Electronics Association. You can spit woof cookies all you want but CEA is not a captive of Intel. The CEA represents lots of OEM's who buy Intel processors and from AMD. It also represents retailers who sell computer products.

I am not aware of a single OEM who has complained about receiving an Intel rebate.

FYI, both AMD and Intel are members of the CEA.
